Military
& Veterans

If you are currently on active duty, I recommend that you first use your chain of command. If you have exhausted your chain of command, your home of record is Connecticut and you have not received a response, please fill out the online form and privacy release below. Please print, sign, and send the privacy release to Senator Blumenthal's Hartford office. Once it is received, a member of Senator Blumenthal's Constituent Services team will contact you to discuss how we can best help you resolve your issue. Please allow up to two weeks from the time we receive your privacy release for Senator Blumenthal's office to contact you.

If you are a Veteran in search of benefits, please be advised that Senator Blumenthal's office cannot file a claim for you, nor can we file an appeal on your behalf. The office can inquire as to the status of your claim or appeal. If you are a Veteran seeking help with a claim, please fill out the online form and privacy release below. Please print, sign, and send the privacy release to Senator Blumenthal's Hartford office. Please include the claim number, Veteran’s social security number, and a copy of your DD214 if you have one. Once this information is received, a member of Senator Blumenthal's Constituent Services team will contact you to discuss how we can best help you resolve your issue. Please allow up to two weeks from the time we receive your privacy release for Senator Blumenthal's office to contact you.

If your issue is time sensitive please contact my Hartford office at 860-258-6940.

Many benefit questions can be answered on the Department of Veteran Affairs website at www.va.gov.
