Listed below are the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies projects Senator Blumenthal has submitted to the Senate Appropriations Committee. The Senate Appropriations Committee selects the final projects from the projects submitted by all senators. Therefore, neither submission of an application nor Senator Blumenthal’s approved list of projects are guaranteed for final funding.

Bradley Air National Guard Base - Windsor Locks, CT

  • Amount Requested: $14,990,000
  • This project consolidates two like functions into one sustainable facility and facilitates the demolition of 4 aging and energy inefficient buildings totaling of 22,777 SF.

Naval Submarine Base New London - New London, CT

  • Amount Requested: $14,950,000
  • Adequate and appropriately configured facilities are required to support magnetic signature measurements on submarines at every opportunity and no more than 90 days prior to deployment. The UEMMS range measures magnetic and electric field data as required for Los Angeles and Virginia class submarines.
