Blumenthal Statement on the Passing of Sen. Eileen Daily

(Hartford, CT) – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) issued the following statement today regarding the passing of former State Senator Eileen Daily:

"Eileen Daily was tireless and unstinting in her caring and advocacy for ‎everyday people. She was a model of public service-- constantly and consistently dedicated to helping others. She had an irrepressible sense of humor, and strong sense of right and wrong.  I'll always count her service and friendship as a gift,” Blumenthal said.
