Blumenthal Statement on Senate Confirmation of Loretta Lynch as United States Attorney General

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) issued the following statement on the Senate’s 56-43 vote confirming Loretta Lynch as the next U.S. Attorney General:

“After disgraceful, deplorable delay, Loretta Lynch's approval today gives the nation a top law enforcement officer of superb intellect and integrity.
