Blumenthal Statement on Passing of State Representative Mary Fritz

[HARTFORD, CT] – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) today released the following statement on the passing of State Representative Mary Fritz.

“As a ferociously loyal and caring friend, and a deeply dedicated public servant, Mary Fritz touched countless lives for the better, including mine. From our beginning days in the General Assembly during the early 1980's, Mary powerfully impressed and inspired me with her endless energy, insight and integrity. Although she had numerous  highly significant legislative causes, and achieved many of them, what mattered most to her was helping individual constituents-- and none of their causes was too small or challenging. Above all, she loved her family and friends-- my heart goes out to them-- and we will miss her.”
