(Hartford, CT) – Today, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) issued a statement in response to the passing of Joseph Ehrenkranz, Rabbi Emeritus of Agudath Sholom Synagogue in Stamford.

“Joe Ehrenkranz was a giant – as a spiritual leader, statesman, champion of civil rights and religious freedom, and advocate for justice.  His legacy is huge and enduring, on countless people whose lives he touched with kindness and caring and the historic human causes he fought to achieve here and around the world. He made his faith matter to so many others.
