Blumenthal Statement on Initial Operational Readiness of Marine Corps’ F-35B Joint Strike Fighter

The first operational fleet of F-35s is in the hands of our warfighters and prepared for their first mission. The air superiority and stealth of this next generation fighter is key to protecting and safeguarding our nation and allies. It will help maintain dominance and defense against rapidly-advancing threats around the globe.”
