Blumenthal Statement on House Sit-in to Call for Action on gun Violence Prevention Measures

[WASHINGTON, DC] – Today, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) applauded Members of the House Democratic Caucus – including his colleagues in the Connecticut Congressional Delegation – who are conducting a sit-in demonstration to demand that the House take up gun violence prevention measures to expand background checks and prevent gun sales to suspected terrorists. Blumenthal joined the Members on the House Floor earlier today.
