(Hartford, CT) – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) today released the following statement regarding the state’s decision to forgo the President’s recent proposal for the Affordable Care Act.
“I support Governor Malloy’s decision to do what is best for Connecticut patients and consumers, by moving forward with important insurance reforms. Like many significant pieces of legislation, the Affordable Care Act will require tweaks and changes as it is implemented. I am pleased the President is exploring such changes to improve the law, even as they all do not necessarily fit every state.”
