Blumenthal Statement Honoring Veterans Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, today released the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:

“Today, we gather across the country to honor veterans of all eras. We remember our debt to military men and women throughout our history, and we recognize the sacrifices of their loved ones. We must keep faith with our heroes serving now or in the past, their selfless caregivers, and the lasting legacies of all lost. We must fight to ensure our veterans have the healthcare they need, the opportunities they earned, and the gratitude they deserve. To all veterans and their families: Thank you. We stand with you, not just today, but every day.”
