Blumenthal Reiterates Support for Israel, Condemns Palestinian Terror Attacks

(Hartford, CT) – Today, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) issued the following statement condemning the outbreak of violence against civilians in Israel that has resulted in the death of 3 Israelis and wounded more than 20:

“I stand with Israel in defending itself against these tragic and indiscriminate Palestinian terror attacks on Israeli citizens and I will strongly support efforts to restore security and renew hope for reconciliation. The United States must bolster Israel’s security, hold the Palestinian Authority accountable for incitement, and urge President Abbas to act immediately to stem this tide of violence that follows from his dangerous disavowal of the peace process.”
