Blumenthal Issues Statement on Officer Injured In Willimantic Shooting

(Hartford, CT) –  U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) issued the following statement today regarding the shooting in Willimantic that resulted in an officer being shot:

“My thoughts and prayers go out to the injured police officer. I commend the police and other first responders for their heroic efforts to swiftly apprehend this dangerous individual and prevent further violence.”
