Blumenthal Applauds House Passage of the Build Back Better Act

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives approved the Build Back Better Act:

“This measure will be a historic game changer for millions of everyday Americans. It will help cut costs and lower taxes, strengthen the economy by investing in jobs and skills. It will create a new economy that delivers for the American people. The Senate must now swiftly pass this comprehensive legislation. We must meet the urgent needs of all Americans—especially cutting prescription drug costs, reducing taxes, making child care and elder care more affordable, combatting climate change, and ensuring that it is all paid for by having the wealthiest and big corporations pay their fair share.”
