Blumenthal Statement On President Obama’s D.C. Circuit Court Judicial Nominees

(Washington, DC) –Today, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) issued the following statement on President Obama’s judicial nominees for the D.C. Circuit Court:

“President Obama has nominated three thoughtful, intelligent, and experienced lawyers to fill these crucial vacancies on the D.C. Circuit. The D.C. Circuit, which addresses many of the most important and complicated questions facing our country, should be fully filled with qualified judges. I urge my colleagues in the Senate to proceed promptly, and not obstruct consideration of the President’s effort to fill these vacancies.”
