Blumenthal Announces Changes to Press Team, New Communications Director

(Washington, DC) – Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) today announced changes to his office’s communications team. Kate Hansen, formerly Senator Blumenthal’s Communications Director, has left the office to become the Communications Director for the Democratic Governors Association. Nu Wexler, former Communications Director with the House Budget Committee, will become the office’s Communications Director.

Nu’s wealth of experience and insight will be instrumental as we move forward.”

In addition to serving as Communications Director with the House Budget Committee, Nu served previously as the Communications Director with the House Education and Labor Committee. Nu is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Government and International Studies.
